Frequently Asked Questions

Is the certification exam included with my class?
For SAFe certification classes, the class page will state which exam or completion assessment is included. Under the current Scaled Agile policy, foundational certifications include two attempts within the exam window, while advanced and expert certifications generally include one attempt. Exceptions are identified on the course page.
How do I download or share my SAFe certification?
After passing, open the Certifications or Achievements area in SAFe Studio, select the active certification, and use the print option to save a PDF. Where a digital badge is issued, it can be claimed and shared through the provider's badge platform.
How do I renew my SAFe certification?
Renew through SAFe Studio using the renewal option associated with your certification tier. Scaled Agile currently does not require the certification exam to be repeated for renewal, and taking an unrelated new course does not automatically renew previously earned certifications. Review the current tier, price, benefits, and expiration date in Studio.
How do I access my SAFe exam?
After the instructor confirms your attendance, sign in to SAFe Studio, open Learning Plans & Exams, choose the relevant in-progress learning plan, and launch the exam from that plan. Contact support if the class is complete but the exam remains unavailable.
Will I receive a course-completion certificate, a professional certification, or both?
A course-completion record confirms that you satisfied the class attendance or completion requirements. A professional certification normally requires a separate provider assessment or exam. The course page identifies what is earned through attendance, what requires an exam, and whether a digital badge is available.
